Maud is writing a post like this, so I thought I would too. Hopefully, you will get to know me better.
1. Emile isn't actually my first name, it's my middle name.
2. I really don't like having things around my wrists. Especially sleeves, so I always roll my sleeves up.
3. I'm really bad at sleeping. It's currently 23:18.
4. Maud and I have been best friends for almost ten years now.
5. My favourite colour is cranberry red.
6. I really like learning languages.
7. I also really like making lists. I have at least ten notebooks.
8. That should have been a separate point.
9. I play piano.
10. My favourite book when I was younger was The Trumpet of the Swan by E. Nesbitt.
11. I read that book at least 4 times.
12. Somehow I'm simultaneously scared and excited about moving up the school.
13. I'm 4' 11". I've hardly grown at all since I was ten.
14. I get really sad if I can't sing for a long time. By a long time I mean more than three days.
15. I don't like wearing socks without shoes.
16. My two cats are called Chester and Mia. They look like this:
17. I would like to be an astrophysicist or a biochemist when I leave university.
18. I want to go to university, preferably far enough away from my parents that they don't find out what I'm up to.
19. The food I despise the most is cream of tomato soup. I have never ever ever ever ever ever liked it.
20. I love shopping for school supplies.
21. My summer job is to clean the house. Yippee. No but seriously I get money to buy more books.
22. I really like pesto pasta, especially with little cherry tomatoes chopped up in it.
23. I eat meat but I would much rather be pescatarian.
24. My favourite animals are humpback whales and owls.
25. I'm going to go to bed now because it's 23:31 and I should sleep in preparation for all the cleaning I'm going to do tomorrow.
26. This is the fourth blog post I have written today. Go super productive me!
27. My favourite scents are almond and rose.
28. I keep forgetting what year it is, and what month.
29. I find it really hard to sleep with washing my face first because I can just imagine all the fresh greasy spots that will be waiting for me the next morning.
30. Maud talks in her sleep. That's not a fact about me, but what is a fact about me is that I find it incredibly annoying. Love you =).
31. My Nan is the biggest inspiration in the world to me. I love her more than I can ever say.
32. When I was 7 a girl in my class told me her Dad was going to kill me but she would protect me. I'm still alive (shocker).
33. I'm not sure why I'm being so sarcastic today.
34. I hate it when my younger brother starts talking about quantum physics at the dinner table because it makes me feel like a failure. Besides, chemistry and biology are more my thing.
35. I really don't like plasters. I never wear them.
36. I have a birthmark on my left ankle.
37. I have three scars, one on my head next to the outside of my right eye, one on my left hand and one on my tongue.
38. I got the scar on my head by running into the corner of a table when I was two. My parents blame each other.
39. I got the scar on my left hand last Canadian thanksgiving when I accidentally peeled a tiny bit of skin off my hand. Evidently my immune system couldn't cope with it and it left a scar.
40. I got the scar on my tongue in Portugal when I was holding onto my brother and he jerked his head up into my chin causing me to bite through my tongue. It was gruesome.
41. On a similar topic I pushed my brother off a bunkbed when I was younger. I haven't attempted it since thankfully.
42. My mother forbids us from saying the word 'spud' at the dinner table.
43. I have never told any of my crushes that I have had a crush on them.
44. When I try and speak French it sounds like someone attempting to regurgitate their lunch.
45. Bad grammar bothers me to no end.
46. I feel like my brain can't comprehend English, it is wired to understand Maths and Science instead.
47. I once asked for two guinea pigs on Christmas Eve to see if Santa was real. The results were negative.
48. I have had surgery twice.
49. Latex gloves creep me out.
50. Whenever I'm sad I read or play piano.
