Harry Potter order tag; Maud
This is few days late but this is going to be my main post.
I'm going to be doing an order of favourite to least favourite harry potter books tag. I will also write a mini description of why. Don't get me wrong though, I love them all!
I hope you all enjoy this fun post :)
It will be least favourite to favourite by the way.
Books
Least
1. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
This is my least favourite book because I just found it really creepy. I read this in Year6 so I might think a bit differently now?!
2. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Lots of people (aka Emile) love this book. I don't really know why this is near the bottom of my list, I just prefer most of the other books' plot lines.
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
I really love this book as it's the start of this amazing adventure. But I suppose it gets more incredible as you get futher into the series.
4. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I also loved this one but ya know...There are sooo many up the top of the scale that this ended up here ;(
5. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I really like the Triwizard Tournament and how in this book, us readers to meet other wizarding
schools.
6. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
It was so tough to choose between these last two so they are pretty much equal. I REALLY REALLY LOVE this one!
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Although it had a really slow start, the end of this book was life-changing.
I loved it so so so so sooooo much. I stayed up until 3:30 am to finish it. Yep <----- That is dedication right there ;0

That is my list of least favourite to favourite.

Why books are ALWAYS better than films; Maud
Hey guys!
Today I'm going to be writing about the difference about books and films and why the books are ALWAYS better.
Disclaimer: this is only my opinion :/
1. The story line is in so much more detail and lots of the
important details are missed out in the films as they are only technically based on the books.
2. It helps your education and learning as it will help teach you new words and your English teachers will be happy with you :)
3. It can be extremely relaxing and help you get to sleep whereas films wake you up!
These are only 3 of many things that books can help you do compared to films.
Although, you can watch a film once in a while as a treat :)

Why are you crying over a book? ~ discussion
Bonjour everybody,
Today we are talking about something that I feel rather strongly about. If you are an avid reader like myself, you've probably cried at a book at some point. You've probably laughed and cried tears of happiness and pain. It's all part of the experience.
Personally, I judge the book I read by how strongly I care for the characters and how emotionally connected to the book I am. Countless times it's been 1 am and I've been sobbing over the end of my book. Usually over a character's death or a tragic incident. Sometimes I don't even know why I'm crying, I just love the book that much.

What really grates on my nerves is when you are reading a book in public and you start tearing up, and someone comes up to you with a worried expression. That part itself is not annoying, in fact it's very sweet. What's annoying is when you explain you're crying over the book and they say something like "Don't worry, it didn't actually happen," or, "It's just a book".
I don't care if you didn't experience the emotional trauma I am going through at the hands of a novel; but it matters to me. I don't care if to you I am crying over some words on a page. It is so much more than that. It happened to me so I have every right to cry about it. The best feeling though is finding someone who understands this, and will hold you as you bawl about the death of your favourite character.
So to those of you who cry over books all the time, you're not the only one. I do it too. And I think it makes up part of who I am. Let me know what you think about crying over books in the comments r on twitter.
