The Best Ships ~ Emile

Bonjour!

Today I shall talk about a topic very dear to my heart, and that is ships. Shipping characters together. In case you don't know, "ship" comes from the word "relationship" and what we mean when we say we "ship" characters together is that we really like their romantic relationship.

I have quite a few ships, so in no particular order...

1. Percabeth
Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

2. Rowaelin
Rowan Whitethorn and Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series.

3. Celorian
Celaena Sardothien and Dorian Havilliard from the Throne of Glass series.

4. Violinch
Violet Markey and Theodore Finch from All the Bright Places.

And finally...

5. Emorian
Me and Dorian Havilliard from the Throne of Glass series. I can dream.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series review ~ Emile

Bonjour mes amis!

How are you all doing today? Honestly, I feel awful. But hopefully that's just me. 

My latest book-ish obsession is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. Unless you have been living under a rock you have probably heard of this series. It is a 5 book collection about a boy call Percy Jackson (obviously). 

Percy is a demigod and after a strange turn of events ends up living at Camp Half-Blood, a camp for demigods. Demigods are the children of gods and humans, because of this they attract monsters which means they do not often survive without help from the camp. On the way he meets new friends and enemies and heroes and villains and it is epic. I love it. 

The books are as follows:

1. Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief

2. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

3. Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse

4. Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth 

5. Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian 

There is also a follow-up series featuring the original characters as well as some new ones called the Heroes of Olympus. This series incorporates Roman gods as well as Greek into the world of Percy Jackson. Here are the books:

1. The Lost Hero

2. The Son of Neptune

3. The Mark of Athena

4. The House of Hades

5. The Blood of Olympus 

I highly recommend this for people of all ages. 5 stars!
