Currently Reading ~ Emile 19/8/15

Bonjour!

Right now I am currently reading The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan, the last book in the Heroes of Olympus series. I have spoken about this so much already even though I haven't technically finished the series. There shall be a series review, I promise! It's going to be up either next Monday or the Monday after.

I am reading this book on my Kindle, so far I am 60% of the way through the book. I am kind of nervous to read because I don't want the series to be over. I really love Percy Jackson as a character and his book series. It was Percy's 22nd birthday yesterday, so happy birthday Percy!

The Books I am Taking on Holiday with Me ~ Emile

Joyeux Lundi!

Unfortunately, I haven't yet finished the Heroes of Olympus series, so that review will have to wait until next week. In the mean time, I am going to share with you what books I am going to take on holiday with me.

This week my family and I are going to stay in the woods for a week, a sort of Centerparcs style thing. For those of you who don't know, Centerparcs is a holiday company where you can stay in a rented cabin and participate in activities like archery and rock climbing etc. As of this moment I am feeling in a major fantasy mood, so bear that in mind when I tell you which books I am taking.

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
It is about time I read this, it has such high praise.

2. The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johanson
Ditto. Plus I got it on Amazon yesterday for just £3.85! Click here for the link.

3. The Power of One by Bryce Courteney.
I have been meaning to get around to this. It just hasn't happened yet.

Given that some of these books are of a rather substantial size, I think they'll last me through the week. Also, I probably won't actually have much time to read. I have been reading on my Kindle for a while, so I am excited to hold an actual paperback again.

Currently Reading ~ Emile 13/8/15

Bonjour!

Apologies that my currently reading is a day late, I am adjusting the schedule for blog posts. I'll keep you updated on that.

Right now I am reading the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. I am on the fourth book, The House of Hades. I am loving this series even more than the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, and that's saying something. The Heroes of Olympus is based around a world where Greek and Roman gods still exist. It is a follow up series to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

So far, I have given all of the books 5/5 stars. I'll write a review for the series when I am finished. Probably next Monday.
