Matilda The Musical Review; Maud

Hello everybody! It's Maud.

Long time no see, eh. I am really sorry about the last however
many months it has been that I have been offline but the good news is, I'M BACK!
Anyway, today's post is going to be about Matilda the Musical.

On the 9th of September, I went to see Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre, London.
It was absolutely AMAZING although there were many flashing lights and loud noises.
The actors and actresses were absolutely spectacular. The transitions between each scene was very fluid and the show was quite an even pace all the way through.
The show was around 2 and a half hours including intervals where they sell programmes, snacks and clothes. Although, like in any theatre they were all very expensive so I recommend brining your own food and drink.

I think my favourite scene was 'when I grow up' song.
It was great how everything was set out to be able to transform into different environments.
I would absolutely go back and see it again if I could!
Rate: 9/10 (Only because it was a bit too loud and there were too many flashing lights at some points in the production).

The Making Of Harry Potter; Maud

Hey guys!

It's Maud...I really apologise for my lack of posts and updates. 
Term time is a very busy time for me as I am really committed to ballet (I do it 3/4 times a week) and as I am in secondary school, I get a TONNE of homework :[
I broke up from school on July 23rd and have absolutely NO homework, NO ballet and am not going on Holiday! This means I will have a tonne of time to write blog posts, fanfiction and read! 
I am going to be posting lots to make up for all I have missed. 

Anyway, this blog post is about The Making Of Harry Potter! Me and Emile visited on July 19th and were certainly astounded by the sets, props, outfits etc.
Emile had already been before with her school but realised that she had missed and not noticed lots before. I ,Maud, had never been before. I t was a dream come true and I'd waited a year and a half for it. A few pictures will be inserted down below.

We took more pictures at the studios but they were either bad quality or had us in them. 

We really enjoyed our time at the studios and recommend it to everyone! 

The shop is very expensive but we got...

Emile:

• A Chocolate Frog and got Rowena Ravenclaw as the card
• Ravenclaw Scarf
• Ginny Weasley's wand
• Ravenclaw postcard
• Lots of free bookmarks

Maud:

• A Chocolate Frog and got Albus Dumbledore as the card ;)
• Hufflepuff scarf
• Sirius Black's wand
• Hufflepuff postcard
• Lots of free bookmarks

An Update 27/6/15

Bonjour!

Maud and I apologise for our absence in the past few weeks, now that exams are largely over we will be back on track and posting regularly. We really want to put all we can into the content on this blog so we didn't want to post anything half-hearted. Besides, the summer holidays are coming soon and we'll be posting loads then.

Sorry; Maud

Hi guys!

Today's post is more of an apology as I have not posted for ages. I feel extremely bad for this and it will improve---I promise!

I am not trying to make excuses but I will explain why...

1) At the moment I am having a really hard time at home---this has caused a reading slump :'( this is why I am still reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood a Prince and All The Bright Places.

2) I have loads of exams coming up that I need to revise for. I get extreme anxiety over exams so with this all going round my head, I can't think about reading or writing on this blog or even writing fanfiction. These exams are not only in school but I have an Intermediete Foundation ballet exam. This is really stressing me out to the point where I feel like nothing matters anymore. 

I promise that once all these exams are over, I will write loads to make up for it!

Me and Emile are also going to Harry Potter Studios in July as a birthday treat for us both! When we go, we will write loads on our experience and what we thought. 

Sorry if this was just a complete rant but I needed to let you guys know as I don't want you to feel like I am abandoning the blog (I am certainly not!).

I hope you guys understand!
