I Can't Read Anymore; PEDIM Day 24 // Emile

School's over! I have two whole weeks of freedom.

Today I wanted to talk about how my reading habits have changed recently. Honestly, I have hardly read anything. I find it so hard to stay focused on a book and not get distracted, or if I do have time to read I waste it on the internet. Or I simply do something else. This is getting really frustrating. The last time I sat down and read for two hours straight was months ago. Months and months.

Because I have time off I thought I would use it to my advantage. I'm going to try and read for half an  hour every day. Just half an hour. Given as I have the whole day off I have no excuse. I am hoping that maybe this will help me get back into reading. If you have any tips let me know.

I've been doing some sewing today. I'm making a toy bunny for my Mum for when she goes back into hospital. The pattern I'm using is here: bunny pattern.  (It's not my pattern, and completely belongs to Purl Soho) I wanted a smaller one so I printed off the template at 75% (you can choose it as a setting before you print). For fabric I used an old pair of pyjama bottoms with a floral print. Mine looks a lot more "homemade" but I like it. I haven't stuffed it yet because I need to go out and buy cotton wool but I'm excited to put it all together and see it come to life.

The End,
