Hello everyone,
Happy belated Saint David's day! I can't believe it's March already.
As of right now I am reading Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I'm not that far into yet, I'll let you know what I think, but so far, it's pretty good.
Recently I have been really getting back into learning Spanish. I use Duolingo, which is a free language learning platform. They have loads of languages, it's fun to learn, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I'm not sponsored by the way. There is also a mobile app for Apple and Android which makes it really accessible. I was always a bit disappointed that I was not raised bilingual (even though both of my parents are British) because I missed out on what to me seemed like a free language. So I decided to teach myself. And I am really enjoying it.
Tomorrow night I'm going to go and see The Woman in Black theatre production, which will be interesting because I am a complete wimp; and I will be scared to death. I'm going to write a review of it so look out for that on Saturday! My Dad bought me jelly babies to take with me, so it shouldn't be too bad. I will probably spend the whole time peeking through my fingers though.
Lady Midnight is coming out soon! Make sure you read it in time for the An Infinite Philosophy discussion at the end of the month. Speaking of that, apologies for the Salt to the Sea discussion, it wasn't great. We have discovered that you can't just write down your conversation. It's confusing and sounds so unnatural. Next time we are going to try taping our conversation so that you can listen to it. Maybe in the future we will consider doing live shows, but we don't have much of a following yet so I think that it would be a waste of time.
This was quite a long currently reading post, let me know if you like the more "life updaty" style in the comments below. (Yes I just said "updaty").
The End,
