Following on from Emile's reading multiple books at once post, I'm going to be stating my view on the subject!
At the moment, I'm reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling and All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (Emile has done a review on All The Bright Places).
I don't normally read two books at once unless I have to, but the reason I am at the moment is because I have so many books on my TBR pile! I want to get through so many books that I thought that as ATBP and Harry Potter are extremely different stories, I'll read them together and choose which one to pick up by my current mood!
A tip for reading two books at once is that you should read two (or more) completely different books so that you can choose which one to pick up depending on your mood and so that the stories and characters don't get mixed up in your head! Also, don't read multiple books if you are focusing on finishing one book in particular as you may not finish it as quickly as you would hope!
