I went to the Pride Parade yesterday and i kid you not, it was one of the best days of my life. I will put in a few pics down below. (This was written on Sunday the 26th June).
My birthday is tomorrow but it kinda seems unreal because I have already had an amazing day. Today I am going to have a cute picnic with a few friends and have fun in the park. I feel like our generation spends so much time on the internet that we should get out every once in a while.
Anyway, it's now technically summer (although it may not feel it) so after Emile's, I'm going to do my own :)
1. Try not to care as much about what people think.
2. Practice my ukelele everyday and try as I hard as I can at it.
3. READ MORE!
4. Have a cute film night with my bestfriends.
5. Get off my phone and go outside.
6. Go to the Young Adult Literature Convention and enjoy the day with my favourite people.
7. Catch up on blogposts and post when I'm meant to :-)
8. Look over some science GCSE work so that I remember it when I start the school year.
9. Carry on dancing even though I don't have lessons.
10. Find things to do. Even though the summertime can be quite boring at times, I want to enjoy my summer and not wish it away like I normally do.
11. Have a cute picnic with my friends.
12. Hold a Bake Off/ mini Masterchef with my friends.
13. Camp in the back garden :-)
14. Take a day trip to the sea-side.
15. Complement a stranger
16. Write to my penpal in Alicante.
17. Go to the cinema (instead of Netflix).
18. Make a mini film (inspired by YOU DO YOU by Buzzfeed)
19. Have a water fight :-)
20. Dip-dye my hair a fun colour.
21. Write a letter to myself and open it in the future.
22. Dress up as a Harry Potter character.
23. Go to a concert (I'm going to a Courtney Barnett concert in a week or so)
24. Do something that scares you (I'm going to Thorpe Park soon so that will fit the bill).
25. (Linked to number 2) Try and learn a Courtney Barnett song on my uke.
26. Get round to reading 5 books at least (one a weeks).
27. Try and be much more healthy and go 2 weeks off sweets and chocolate.
28. Try and stretch to get my splits comfortable.
29. Do more of my Wreck This Journal.
30. Finish watching American Horror Story because I got to Coven and then got bored but apparently Freak Show is better so I'll push on.
31. Write at least 5 chapters of my story on Wattpad (private account sorry).
32. Spend less money on stupid things :/
33. Get a membership to the gym and actually go
34. Go braless and not care about what people think (this is a bit of a weird one but I am really self-concious of things like this and I want to become more comfrotable with my body).
When I do one of these things, I will highlight it and try and add in a little picture :-)
Let's hope by the time the summer is over, they are all highlighted. 28. Try and stretch to get my splits comfortable.
