Bonjour!
The summer holidays have just started and for many of us that means reading! Hours and hours of free time to spend with your beloved novels! I'm looking forward to it very much. Here are some books that I wish to read during this summer:
1. The Name of the Wind ~ Patrick Rothfuss
I have heard people say that you have not experienced YA fantasy until you have read this - so let's see. It has 4.6 out of 5 stars on Goodreads as well.
2. Can You Keep a Secret ~ Sophie Kinsella
From the blurb of this book it sounds very interesting.
3. Amy and Roger's Epic Detour ~ Morgan Matson
Because summer is the time for contemporaries.
4. Anna and the French Kiss ~ Stephanie Perkins
Ditto.
5. Red Queen ~ Victoria Aveyard
It sounds like a good book. Simples.
6. The Assassin's Blade ~ Sarah J. Maas
The novellas to one of my favourite series: Throne of Glass
7. A Court of Thorns and Roses ~ Sarah J. Maas
I must read every book ever written by that wonderful woman.
8. Go Set a Watchman ~ Harper Lee
The sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird came out last week and I am looking forward to reading it.
9. Sherlock Holmes ~ Arthur Conan Doyle
Not the whole series, but I borrowed a few from the school library.
10. The 5th Wave ~ Rick Yancey
It's been on my shelf for a while.
I'm hoping to read a lot more than that but those are a few I would like to get to in the next couple of months.
Au revoir,
Emile x
