Currently Reading//Maud; 30.05.16

Hey guys!
So this is my currently reading that was meant to be posted yesterday. I did write it but this morning it changed so...

I was previously reading ACOMAF but this morning I decided to put it down. I am in a really big slump and it was really daunting. It actually made me feel really stressed and upset so I decided that I should put it down to lift a weight from my shoulders because you shouldn't feel obliged to read anything, reading s a fun thing that should be enjoyed!

I am now reading...We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. This book is only short and apparently it is absolutely outstanding so yeah! I am gonna read tonight :)

I HATE READING SLUMPS// Maud

Hello everyone,

I'm in a HUGE reading slump. I just never feel the push to read and I just find myself floating away my hours on Youtube and Netflix.
I'm really angry at myself because I am finding it so difficult to get out of. It probably doesn't help that I am reading ACOMAF which is freaking huge and so daunting.
However, I can't really stop now as I'm about 200 pages through. Also, apparently it gets lots better.

Anyway, I probably won't finish it by the end of the month and I'm sorry but ugh I'm feel so horrible right now.

A Court of Mist and Fury Review // Emile

Hello everyone!

I am here today with a long awaited post - my A Court of Mist and Fury review. (ACOMAF for short).

If you don't know about ACOMAF go and read any book written by Sarah J. Maas, preferably the first one in a series. She if my absolute favourite author. If you are a fan of sassy characters, sexy characters, or kick-ass characters, or maybe all three, then you will enjoy them. I have spoken about Throne of Glass enough on this blog to express my love for this wonderful lady and her equally wonderful novels. Read them.

Back to the book.

A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy (ACOTAR for short). ACOTAR was released last Spring, and I read it when on holiday in August, and it was brilliant. Many people say that ACOMAF is even better, and I definitely agree. One thing I can say about Sarah J. Maas' characters is that their character development is amazing. Very interesting to read and take the journey of their personal progression with them. You really feel like you are in the book. Like the characters are your friends and you are sitting in a room with them and listening to their words then and there. It's a magical feeling, I'm sure you all know what I am talking about.

I really really really really really reeeaaallly liked this book. The characters are brilliant. Rhysand <3. The descriptions of Velaris are beautiful, it creates such a vivid image. Admittedly, when I heard that there was to be a second book in the series I was a bit sceptical, to me all the loose ends were wrapped up, fighting more needed to happen. But, once I started reading ACOMAF I definitely didn't feel like it was a sequel for the sake of it. It had a great plot and the story line made complete sense. I love the new characters we are introduced to and all their quirky personalities and backstories. In conclusion, 5 stars, it was great, read it.
