50 Facts About Me // Maud; BEDIA 3

Heyo peeps,
(This was written last week)
I am at Em's right now! We are gong to YALC on Sunday and we are super pumped for it!
I am finding it really hard to have ideas for blog posts so I thought I'd do an updated "Facts About Me Tag thingy".

1. I am a British teen

2. My favourite book is The Perks of Being A Wallflower

3. My favourite book series is Harry Potter

4. I am a Hufflepuff

5. I am Homoflexible/ Questioning. 

6. I live with my mum, my dad, my brother and my greyhound

7. I prefer my middle name to my first name and think it would be cool if they were swapped (Maud is my middle name).

8. The last thing I bought was a present for Emile :-) 

9. I only fluently speak English but I learn Spanish at school

10. I am 5ft 2inch roughly

11. My favourite song right now is Dead Fox by Courtney Barnett

12. I do dance for 6 hours a week

LGBTQIA+ Books I Want to Read // Maud; BEDIA DAY 2

Good morning,
Today I feel like being really unproductive with my life. I want to just write and read all day :/ I have 3 books arriving in the mail today (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, It Ends with Us (AIP BOTM) and Faceless) and that really excites me. However I have acquired 7 books over this weekend so I'd better get reading!
Anyway, today's post is going to be on LGBTQ+ books that I want to read. I hope you enjoy :-)

Book 1) More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
I have wanted to read this book for SUCH A LONG TIME. I really don't know how I haven't got round to it. Apparently this is to do with LGBT so I thought I'd feature it.

Book 2) Girl Hearts Girl by Lucy Sutcliffe
I mentioned this one in yesterday's post of My Summer TBR and as I said in that post, I got this at YALC having never come across it before but now I'm really happy to have it.

Book 3) Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
Emile has read this and really recommended it so hopefully I will soon be able to get my hands on it and start reading.

Book 4) Becoming Nicole by Amy Ellis Nutt
This is the story of an american family helping their trans- daughter transition. I am really interested to read this and think it will be really touching.

Book 5) Lies My Girlfriend Told Me by Julie Anne Peters
I just found out about this one because it's pretty unwell-known. I read the synopsis and think that it will be a pretty good book. It also has amazing reviews from most people.

That is my list of 5 LGBTQIA+ books that I really want to read!
My BEDIA posts won't be super long but I'll try my hardest to make them interesting :-0

My Summer Reading TBR // Maud; BEDIA DAY 1

Hello peeps,
I feel like I owe it to you to write one post everyday this month as of how little I have written recently. So this is my first post I suppose! I will really try to write everyday but if I miss out a few days please forgive me.

This is my summer reading TBR. I've already had a week of summer but I didn't really read much over that time. However, from this point on that is going to change. I am now reading an amazing book and I hope all of the books down below will also be fabulous. Enjoy :-)

Book 1) Only Ever Yours by Louise O'Neill
This is actually the book I am currently reading. I am loving it so far and the concept is just so raw and deep. I acquired this at YALC yesterday and also got it signed ;-0

Book 2) It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
This is our August BOTM! I am really pumped to read this as I have never read a book by Colleen Hoover before. We are starting to get back on track with our book club again, by the way. However, next year we are thinking of doing one book every two months so it's much less stressful.

Book 3) Girl Hearts Girl by Lucy Sutcliffe
I also got this book at YALC, in fact most of the books on this post I did. This was in a sale of 2 books for £5 so as it looked good anyway I decided to splash some cash.

Book 4) Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling etc.
This is obviously on every potterhead's TBR for this summer. I am super excited to read this and it's coming in a few days (I preordered it from amazon).

Book 5) A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
I have wanted to read this book for the AGES. I bought it the other day so that I could get it signed by V.E. Schwab at YALC. After seeing her, I really felt like I needed to read some of her writing.

That's all the books I'm going to mention because that means, to get all theses books read, I have to read a book a week as I have 5 weeks left. I am also interested in reading a few books like A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas and To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han but they will happen only if I have time.
